It is aimed at users who want controlled, musical bass without sacrificing valuable trunk space. Thanks to its universal enclosure design, it can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of vehicle types—both in combination with factory systems and with simpler aftermarket systems.

Inside, the proven CR8.D2 subwoofer features a 38 mm (1.5") voice coil with a 4-layer copper winding on a Kapton carrier. It is driven by a double-stacked ferrite magnet (2 × 22.5 oz), which ensures a strong and controlled magnetic field. The result is bass that blends cleanly, prominently, and musically into the overall sound—with warmth and definition rather than sheer volume.

The down-firing design with an integrated protective grille makes the CRSB-18UB particularly well-suited for everyday use. It can be placed directly on the trunk floor or—if there is enough space—hidden beneath the cargo area. Four included plastic feet support the downward-firing installation and can be removed if necessary when a forward- or rear-facing installation position is preferred.

Thanks to its dual 2-ohm voice coils and an intelligent dual terminal, the subwoofer can be operated at either 1 ohm, 4 ohms, or 2+2 ohms.
