With a net volume of 39 liters and a bass reflex tuning frequency of 55 Hz, the enclosure is particularly well-suited for compact car audio installations that require powerful bass while taking up minimal space.

The enclosure is constructed of sturdy 18 mm MDF and is reinforced with additional bracing in the corners and along the sides. This reduces unwanted cabinet resonance and provides a solid foundation for the subwoofers. The forward-firing slot port handles the bass reflex tuning and, compared to a sealed enclosure, enables higher efficiency within the tuned frequency range.

Thanks to its wedge shape, the VE208 can be positioned in the trunk to save space.
