De ce fait, les petits haut-parleurs de porte de 100 mm peuvent être sollicités par des basses fréquences qui ne sont pas nécessaires à leur fonction première. Lorsque le « Bass-Blocker » est activé, les fréquences inférieures à 120 Hz sont filtrées avec une pente de 12 dB\/octave.
