STEG SG650C

The STEG SG650C is a high-quality 2-way component speaker system designed specifically for demanding car audio applications. Building on the experience gained with the proven RE65C series, the SG650C combines sophisticated speaker design with high-quality materials and precise sound reproduction.

The 16.5 cm mid-bass drivers feature a sturdy, vented die-cast aluminum basket and a special composite cone made of cotton and glass fiber. In combination with the rubber surround and the generously sized 35-mm voice coil, this design enables controlled, dynamic sound reproduction with a powerful bass response and high detail fidelity. The meticulously crafted magnetic drive system, featuring machined pole plates and a vented pole piece, facilitates efficient heat dissipation.

High-quality 25-mm tweeters with an exceptionally lightweight inverted composite metal diaphragm and a PORON surround are used for high-frequency reproduction. A double-layered voice coil and a powerful neodymium magnet enable finely resolved, detailed high-frequency reproduction.

The included passive crossovers allow you to adjust the treble level to suit the specific installation location and vehicle acoustics. Thanks to its 2-ohm low-midrange drivers, the SG650C is particularly well-suited for high-performance car audio amplifiers and high-quality sound upgrades.
