What is important for an empty enclosure for subwoofers?

If you want to buy a spare subwoofer enclosure, stability is one of the most important criteria. Your subwoofer must be placed securely in the empty enclosure. Our products have a 20 mm MDF enclosure, which ensures proper stability. The functionality of the model of your choice must not be neglected either. The empty subwoofer enclosures from MT Audio offer you various connection terminals for quick connection. The large slot port ensures optimum bass reproduction and perfect tuning. The enclosure can handle the full power of your subwoofer and ensures a really good sound right down to the lowest tones. Frequently asked questions about our bass reflex enclosures

What is the difference between bass reflex and closed enclosures?

At MT Audio, we only offer bass reflex enclosures. They differ from closed subwoofer enclosures due to their large opening. Due to their specific design, they have a high bass response and also produce very little distortion. They require more space, but offer the best sound in everyday use and are therefore our favorite.

What can I do if I don't know how to connect my speakers and subwoofers?

MT Audio offers you a practical service in this regard: our wiring assistant helps you to wire your speakers and amplifier correctly. This prevents damage to your devices - feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
