SPL LAB - LCD Bass Meter (TE)

The SPL LAB LCD Bass Meter Third Edition (TE) is a professional, portable sound pressure meter designed for the precise measurement of high sound pressure levels in the low-frequency range. It is particularly well-suited for car audio applications, tuning high-performance subwoofer systems, and preparing for and conducting SPL competitions.

A particular advantage is that it operates completely independently, without a computer or smartphone. The measured values are processed directly within the device and displayed on the backlit, two-line LCD display. In addition to maximum sound pressure, the device can also measure average sound levels and harmonic distortion.

For more in-depth analysis, the LCD Bass Meter TE can be connected to a Windows PC via USB. When used with the SPL LAB Measuring Center software, measurement data can be analyzed and additional information—such as the frequency spectrum and signal waveform—can be displayed.

The meter can be expanded with compatible NEXT-LAB sensors via the two digital Lab Bus connections. This makes it suitable not only for sound pressure measurements but also, with optional accessories, for frequency response analyses as well as electrical current and voltage measurements.

The rugged plastic housing, compact design, and flexible power supply via USB or batteries make it convenient to use in a vehicle, in the workshop, or at car audio competitions.
