SPL LAB Next-Lab Clamp Meter

The SPL LAB Next-Lab Power Sensor (Clamps) is a professional power sensor designed for the precise measurement and analysis of the output power of car audio amplifiers. With a measurement range of up to 400 amps and 300 volts, the current clamp is particularly well-suited for high-power subwoofer systems, SPL applications, and the professional tuning of car audio systems.

The sensor features a built-in two-channel analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that digitizes the measurement signals directly within the device. Data is transmitted via the digital Lab-Bus interface, which minimizes signal interference and measurement errors during transmission. An integrated electrical protection system and the rugged plastic housing enable use in demanding measurement applications.

In addition to current, voltage, and power, the device can also analyze impedance, frequency response, signal waveforms, and harmonic distortion. True RMS measurement enables reliable measurement of AC current and AC voltage values.

The Next-Lab Power Sensor is designed as an add-on for compatible SPL-LAB measuring devices such as the Next-LCD and Next-USB and requires a corresponding evaluation unit to operate.
