SPL LAB Next-Lab SPL Sensor

The SPL LAB Next-Lab SPL Sensor is a high-precision digital sound pressure sensor designed for professional measurement of subwoofer systems and high-performance car audio systems. With a measurement range of 110 to 185 dB and a measurement accuracy of up to 0.1 dB, the sensor is ideal for SPL competitions, subwoofer tuning, and the detailed analysis of high sound pressure levels.

Thanks to the integrated analog-to-digital converter (ADC), the measurement signal is digitized directly within the sensor and then transmitted via the Lab-Bus interface. This minimizes signal interference and distortion during transmission. Reliable digital signal transmission remains possible even with cable lengths of up to 10 meters.

The Next-Lab SPL sensor features a built-in noise reduction system and an extended amplitude range. Each sensor is factory-tested and calibrated to ensure precise and reproducible measurement results.

The sturdy housing, made of impact-resistant plastic, is equipped with suction cups on the back, allowing the sensor to be easily and securely attached to smooth surfaces such as vehicle windows.

The sensor was developed as an add-on for compatible SPL-LAB measurement systems such as Next-LCD and Next-USB, and is particularly well-suited for professional car audio measurements as well as for preparing for and conducting SPL competitions such as EMMA, dB Drag, and BassRace.
