DLS RCS5.2

The DLS RCS5.2 is a high-quality 2-way component system with a 13 cm (5.25") driver. It is ideal for installation in car doors and other locations with limited space, as the woofer requires only a mounting depth of 43 mm thanks to its flat basket design.

The woofer features a woven fiberglass cone, which provides high rigidity combined with low weight, enabling precise, low-distortion sound reproduction. It is driven by a powerful hybrid magnet made of ferrite and neodymium with a vented pole piece, which ensures efficient force transmission and good heat dissipation.

A 25-mm silk dome tweeter is used for high-frequency reproduction, delivering a sound that is both smooth and rich in detail. The package includes both angled and recessed mounting brackets for the tweeter, as well as protective grilles for the woofer, offering a wide range of installation options.

The external crossover operates with a slope of 12/12 dB (low-pass/high-pass) and crosses over at 5,500 Hz. A selectable tweeter level adjustment allows for fine-tuning of the treble response to suit the specific installation situation and personal sound preferences.
