DLS Performance MK6.2i

The DLS Performance MK6.2i is a high-quality 2-way component speaker system from the DLS Performance series that combines impressive sound quality with an attractive price-to-performance ratio. The system consists of two 165 mm mid-bass drivers and two compact 16 mm tweeters and is ideal for upgrading the sound quality of factory-installed speaker systems.

The low-midrange drivers feature a specially developed paper cone reinforced with textile fibers and a flexible foam surround. This design enables natural and balanced midrange reproduction as well as precise, controlled bass response. The powerful 90-mm-diameter magnet system supports clean and dynamic sound reproduction.

Compact 16-mm Mylar tweeters with neodymium magnets are used for the high frequencies. Thanks to their small size, they can be flexibly installed in the dashboard or in the vehicle doors.

The external inline crossovers with 12 dB high-pass filters allow for easy integration of the tweeters, while the mid-bass drivers operate without additional low-pass filtering. With a power handling capacity of 55 watts RMS, an impedance of 4 ohms, and a sensitivity of 89 dB, the MK6.2i is suitable for use with both compatible car stereos and external amplifiers.
