Wiring wizard & port computer

Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!

Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The STEG QK6 is a high-quality 16.5 cm mid-bass driver from the QK high-end speaker series, designed specifically for demanding car audio systems. With its precise sound reproduction, high-quality materials, and sturdy construction, it provides an excellent foundation for sound-oriented 2-way and 3-way speaker systems.

The specially damped paper cone ensures natural, detailed sound reproduction with controlled mids and a powerful, precise kick bass. The low-resonance die-cast aluminum basket offers exceptional stability, while the generously sized 38 mm voice coil ensures reliable power handling.

Thanks to the sophisticated ventilation of the magnet system—featuring a drilled pole piece and a ventilated air gap—heat dissipation is improved, promoting consistent speaker performance. The high-performance ferrite magnet ensures controlled drive.

The STEG QK6 is ideal for high-quality door installations and fully active sound systems with DSP control. When combined with the STEG QK1 tweeters and QK3 midrange drivers, it enables the creation of speaker systems with exceptional sound quality.
