The Rockford Fosgate M2D4/D2-12IB is a high-performance 30 cm (12-inch) marine subwoofer from the M2 Series, designed specifically for use on boats and in demanding outdoor environments. With 400 watts RMS, a maximum power handling capacity of 1,600 watts, and built-in Color Optix™ RGB LED lighting, it combines powerful bass reproduction with a high-quality, customizable look.

Thanks to its infinite baffle design, the subwoofer is optimized for operation without a separate, enclosed subwoofer enclosure. This requires a suitable, stable mounting surface that separates the sound radiation from the front and rear.

The Element Ready™ design, with IP67 certification, protects the subwoofer from water and harsh environmental conditions. UV-resistant materials, a rugged polypropylene cone, and corrosion-resistant connectors ensure a long service life in marine applications.

The built-in Color Optix™ RGB lighting enables custom lighting effects and can be controlled via a compatible Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ controller and the RF Connect app. Thanks to VersaSwitch™ technology, the total impedance can be conveniently adjusted with the flip of a switch, without having to manually rewire the voice coils.
