The DLS Cruise CRPP-FO1.6 is a vehicle-specific 16.5 cm (6.5") component system designed specifically for select Ford models—including the Fiesta, Focus, Kuga, Ranger, and Transit Custom. The kit replaces the factory-installed speakers in their original mounting locations without requiring any modifications to the wiring or the stock radio.
In terms of sound, the CRPP-FO1.6 features a combination of a glass-fiber low-midrange driver and a 25 mm (1") natural silk dome tweeter. The low-midrange driver delivers controlled midbass and clear midrange reproduction, while the silk dome tweeter provides smooth, detailed highs. A 12 dB/octave crossover with high-quality Mundorf capacitors ensures a clean and balanced transition between the two drivers.
With an efficiency rating of 91 dB, the system already delivers high-quality performance with the standard factory radio. At the same time, it can handle up to 100 W RMS, providing additional dynamic headroom and improved control over the entire frequency spectrum when used with an external amplifier.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the vehicle-specific fit and pre-assembled connectors. The plug-and-play design allows for direct integration into the original system without the need for time-consuming modifications.
