Wiring wizard & port computer
Wiring wizard & port computer
Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!
Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.
The DLS Cruise CRPP-MB1.6 is a vehicle-specific 2-way component system designed as a direct upgrade for the stock audio system in the Mercedes W907/W910 (model year 2018 and later). It is part of DLS’s Cruise series, which is designed for seamless integration into the original vehicle while delivering the natural sound character typical of DLS. Thanks to its precise fit, installation is particularly straightforward and requires no extensive modifications.
In terms of sound, the set features a 16.5 cm (6.5") low-midrange driver with a glass-fiber-reinforced cone, which ensures precise, low-distortion playback. The moving parts are specifically optimized for low distortion. The woofer is complemented by a 25 mm (1") tweeter with a soft silk dome, which produces a warm and musical sound. The driver unit combines an oversized ferrite magnet with an additional neodymium magnet solution for high sensitivity.
The included audiophile crossover operates at a crossover frequency of 4.8 kHz at 12 dB/octave and is equipped with a high-quality Mundorf® capacitor. With a sensitivity of 90 dB, the system can be driven to a considerable volume even with low amplifier power—ideal for use with a factory radio or moderate power amplifiers. The reinforced ABS basket ensures a stable and low-resonance base.
In addition to the speakers and the crossover, the package includes a pry tool (PRY-Tool), other installation accessories, and detailed installation instructions. This allows you to replace the stock speakers quickly and safely without damaging the vehicle.
