DLS Cruise CRPP-MB2.6

The DLS Cruise CRPP-MB2.6 is a vehicle-specific 2-way component system designed specifically for the Mercedes Vito (model year 2014 and later), eVito, and EQV. It utilizes the vehicle’s original mounting locations, enabling a seamless upgrade of the stock sound system—without any modifications to the vehicle’s structure. The set combines the characteristic natural and warm DLS sound with a perfect fit into the existing interior.

The included 25-mm silk dome tweeter is mounted in a custom-designed bracket behind the original dashboard grille, where it locks securely into place. A hard-wired high-pass filter featuring a high-quality Mundorf® capacitor, which cuts off at 4.8 kHz at 12 dB/octave, ensures clean and low-distortion high-frequency reproduction.

The 165 mm woofer features a hybrid magnet system that combines neodymium inside the voice coil and ferrite on the outside. Compared to conventional designs, this configuration achieves a 2 dB gain in sensitivity, resulting in higher sound pressure levels, lower distortion, and more dynamic sound reproduction—even with limited amplifier power. With an impedance of 3 ohms and a sensitivity of 91 dB, the system is ideally suited for factory head units as well as for moderate aftermarket amplifiers.

Installation is particularly straightforward thanks to the included mounts, a PRY tool, mounting accessories, and step-by-step instructions. The tweeter mounts are precisely matched to the OEM grille and use the existing mounting points, ensuring a factory-like appearance without rattling or vibrations. Two DLS Cruise metal badges with 3M adhesive tape are also included in the set.
