The DLS Cruise CRPP-OP1.6 is a vehicle-specific 16.5 cm (6.5") component system designed specifically for select Opel, Chevrolet, and Hummer models. These include popular vehicles such as the Astra, Insignia, Mokka, and Camaro. The kit offers a custom fit and delivers the natural, musical sound characteristic of DLS, with high detail reproduction.
In terms of sound, the CRPP-OP1.6 features a natural, balanced tuning with low distortion. The optimized midrange drivers and tweeters work in conjunction with a high-quality crossover equipped with a Mundorf capacitor that crosses over at 4.8 kHz with a 12 dB/octave slope. This ensures clear and detailed sound reproduction across the entire frequency range from 60 to 25,000 Hz.
With a sensitivity of 90 dB, the system already performs exceptionally well with the standard factory radio. For greater dynamics and clarity at higher volumes, the kit can handle up to 100 W RMS, making it ideal for use with an external amplifier. The 3-ohm impedance ensures efficient power handling.
Installation is incredibly simple: The system connects directly to the factory wiring—without any additional adapters or special connectors. Everything needed for a true plug-and-play installation is included in the package.
