Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The DLS Cruise CRPP-TSW.8 is a custom-fit 20 cm (8") woofer designed specifically for installation in the front doors of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. It replaces the factory-installed speaker directly in its original mounting position and noticeably improves mid-bass reproduction. The stock audio system remains fully intact—no extensive modifications to the vehicle are required.

In terms of sound, the CRPP-TSW.8 follows the distinctive DLS Cruise sound philosophy and delivers a more powerful, tighter mid-bass with natural and controlled reproduction. The diaphragm is made of fiberglass, which ensures high rigidity while keeping the weight low. The optimized hybrid magnet system, combining neodymium and ferrite, boosts efficiency and increases the driver’s sensitivity.

With a sensitivity of 89.7 dB and a power handling capacity of up to 120 W RMS, the CRPP-TSW.8 delivers impressive performance even when paired with the Tesla’s standard amplifier. If you want even more dynamics, punch, and clarity at higher volumes, you can also power the woofer with an external amplifier to unlock its full potential.
