The DLS Cruise CRPP-U6.25 is a universal 2-way component system featuring a 16.5 cm (6.5") full-range driver, a separate tweeter, and a passive crossover. It was developed specifically for vehicles whose door frames do not have predefined OEM speaker mounts and, when used with a compatible speaker adapter, is suitable for a wide range of vehicle models.
The low-midrange driver features a laminated fiberglass cone with a Santoprene® dust cap, which ensures precise, low-distortion reproduction with powerful bass response. A vented basket and an optimized magnet improve cooling and reduce compression effects at higher volume levels. The passive crossover is equipped with a high-quality Mundorf capacitor and ensures clean, detailed transitions between the drivers.
The tweeter delivers extended high frequencies with lifelike clarity and natural openness. The package includes several mounting options—flush, angled, and surface-mount—as well as a PRY tool for easy installation. Thanks to its high sensitivity, the system works reliably with factory head units even without an external amplifier, while also providing a balanced power reserve for aftermarket amplifiers.
In terms of sound, the CRPP-U6.25 is characterized by natural, warm, and dynamic sound reproduction, representing a significant leap in quality compared to factory-installed speakers. The Cruise series embodies the signature DLS natural sound, which is specifically tuned for integration into vehicles.
