The DLS Cruise CRPP-UT25 is a versatile tweeter designed for installation in a wide range of vehicle models. It’s ideal as a high-quality upgrade to factory-installed speakers and delivers a warm, natural sound. Various housing adapters are included in the package to ensure easy and flexible installation.
At the heart of the CRPP-UT25 is a lightweight 1-inch silk dome tweeter with a transparent coating, which delivers a detailed yet pleasantly warm sound. An internal damping pad and a vented back plate effectively minimize unwanted resonance. In addition, a copper shorting ring improves distortion performance and inductance parameters, while a high-quality neodymium magnet ensures high sensitivity.
The included passive crossover functions as a 12-dB high-pass filter and features a hard-wired design. It incorporates high-quality Mundorf Mcap® capacitors, an air-core inductor with copper wire, and industrial-grade connectors. An integrated L-pad with high-quality MOX resistors allows the level to be reduced by up to 4 dB to optimally match the tweeter to the specific vehicle and the other components.
In addition to the enclosure adapters, the package includes a lever tool and other mounting accessories, ensuring quick and easy installation even without special tools. The Cruise CRPP-UT25 is designed for anyone looking for a high-quality, easy-to-install tweeter solution for their vehicle.
