The DLS Cruise CRPP-UW62 is a universal 16.5 cm woofer designed specifically for vehicles that lack a clearly defined or restricted door frame for the original speakers. Thanks to its universal design, it is suitable for a wide range of vehicle models and can be easily retrofitted in combination with a compatible speaker adapter. The Cruise series from DLS is known for its natural sound, which is specifically tailored for integration into existing vehicle audio systems.
The 6.5-inch woofer features a glass-fiber-laminated cone that ensures precision and durability. A Santoprene® dust cap minimizes cone tears and resonance, while the moving parts made of Nomex® and Santoprene® ensure low distortion. Braided voice coil leads prevent unwanted noise during large excursions, and the non-magnetic Kapton® voice coil with copper wire contributes to clean signal reproduction.
The CRPP-UW62 is powered by an optimized, high-performance ferrite magnet. A dual ventilation solution ensures improved heat dissipation, which increases the driver’s thermal load capacity. The low-resonance, reinforced steel basket in Euro design provides a stable base, while the dual connection terminals make installation even easier.
The package includes an installation tool (PRY-Tool) as well as various installation accessories, which enable flexible and clean installation. The subwoofer represents a high-quality upgrade over factory-installed speakers and integrates seamlessly into the vehicle, both sonically and visually.
