The DLS Cruise CRPP-UW64 is a universal 16.5 cm woofer designed specifically for installation in vehicles that do not have a clearly defined or framed door opening for the factory-installed speakers. Thanks to its universal design, it is suitable for a wide range of vehicle models and represents a high-quality upgrade over the stock sound system. To ensure easy installation, we recommend using a compatible speaker adapter.
In terms of sound, the CRPP-UW64 delivers a natural and musical listening experience. The glass-fiber-laminated diaphragm ensures precise and durable bass reproduction, while the Santoprene® dust cap effectively minimizes diaphragm breakage and resonance. Moving parts made of Nomex® and Santoprene® contribute to a sound with exceptionally low distortion. Braided connection wires also prevent annoying noises during large excursions.
The voice coil is made of non-magnetic Kapton® with copper wire and is effectively cooled by a dual ventilation system that provides improved heat dissipation. An optimized, high-quality ferrite magnet provides the necessary drive. The low-resonance, reinforced steel basket in Euro design provides a stable base, while the dual terminal block makes installation even easier. A lever tool and various mounting accessories are included.
