The DLS Cruise CRPP-UW83 is a universal 20 cm (8") subwoofer designed specifically for installation in vehicles that do not have a clearly defined or limited door frame for the original speakers. It is an excellent upgrade to the stock sound system and, when used with a compatible speaker adapter, can be easily integrated into a wide variety of vehicle models.
The woofer features a precise and durable glass-fiber-laminated cone that ensures natural and musical sound reproduction. A Santoprene® dust cap minimizes cone tears and resonance, while the moving parts made of Nomex® and Santoprene® ensure exceptionally low distortion. Braided wire terminals prevent noise during large excursions.
The voice coil is made of non-magnetic Kapton® with copper wire and operates with an optimized hybrid magnet system consisting of neodymium and ferrite. A vented back plate ensures improved heat dissipation and thus a higher power handling capacity during continuous operation. The exceptionally flat, low-resonance steel basket with reinforcing ribs allows for installation even in tight spaces.
Dual connection terminals simplify wiring and installation. The package includes a lever tool and various mounting accessories, which enable easy and flexible installation in a variety of mounting situations.
