Wiring wizard & port computer
Wiring wizard & port computer
Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!
Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.
The DLS Cruise CRPP-VO1.6CX is a vehicle-specific 2-way coaxial speaker designed as a direct upgrade for Volvo models manufactured between 2007 and 2017. It is part of DLS’s Cruise series, which is designed for seamless integration into the existing vehicle system. Thanks to its precision-fit design, it replaces the stock speakers without requiring extensive modifications, while delivering significantly improved sound quality.
In terms of sound quality, the CRPP-VO1.6CX features a 16.5 cm woofer with a glass-fiber-reinforced cone, which ensures precise, low-distortion reproduction. This is complemented by a 25 mm tweeter with a soft silk dome, which gives the speaker a warm and musical character. The optimized moving parts further contribute to low distortion, while the oversized magnet assembly ensures powerful drive.
The built-in audiophile 6-dB crossover with a Mundorf® capacitor cleanly separates frequencies at 4.8 kHz and ensures harmonious interaction between the tweeter and woofer. The basket is made of glass-fiber-reinforced ABS plastic, which ensures high stability while keeping the weight low. With a sensitivity of 90 dB, the speaker operates particularly efficiently and delivers impressive sound quality even when paired with lower-powered sources such as factory head units.
Installation is straightforward, as the speaker is a custom-fit solution designed to fit directly onto the existing mounting points in the Volvo. The package includes a lever tool, additional mounting accessories, and detailed installation instructions, all of which ensure a quick and secure installation.
