Wiring wizard & port computer
Wiring wizard & port computer
Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!
Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The DLS Cruise CRSB-18UB is a compact enclosure subwoofer with a 20 cm (8") woofer, designed specifically for audio upgrades in modern vehicles. It is aimed at users who want controlled, musical bass without sacrificing valuable trunk space. Thanks to its universal enclosure design, it can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of vehicle types—both in combination with factory systems and with simpler aftermarket systems.
Inside, the proven CR8.D2 subwoofer features a 38 mm (1.5") voice coil with a 4-layer copper winding on a Kapton carrier. It is driven by a double-stacked ferrite magnet (2 × 22.5 oz), which ensures a strong and controlled magnetic field. The result is bass that blends cleanly, prominently, and musically into the overall sound—with warmth and definition rather than sheer volume.
The down-firing design with an integrated protective grille makes the CRSB-18UB particularly well-suited for everyday use. It can be placed directly on the trunk floor or—if there is enough space—hidden beneath the cargo area. Four included plastic feet support the downward-firing installation and can be removed if necessary when a forward- or rear-facing installation position is preferred.
Thanks to its dual 2-ohm voice coils and an intelligent dual terminal, the subwoofer can be operated at either 1 ohm, 4 ohms, or 2+2 ohms. This allows for easy adaptation to a wide range of amplifiers and makes the CRSB-18UB a discreet, flexible, and hi-fi-oriented bass solution for the vehicle.
