The DLS Performance Slim PS1.500 is a Class D mono amplifier designed specifically to power subwoofers in vehicles. Despite its extremely compact size—comparable to a smartphone—it delivers up to 500 watts RMS into 1 ohm, making it ideal for high-performance bass setups where installation space is limited.
The carefully selected components ensure low noise and distortion levels, as reflected in a signal-to-noise ratio of 93 dB (A-weighted) and a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1% at 4 ohms. Efficiency is 90% at 4 ohms, ensuring that the available energy is efficiently converted into sound power. The result is clean, powerful bass that remains controlled even at higher volumes.
An adjustable low-pass filter (50–250 Hz) and a subsonic filter (10–50 Hz) are available for precise tuning to the specific subwoofer setup. This is complemented by a bass EQ at 45 Hz with up to +12 dB of boost. High-level inputs with an automatic power-on function allow for integration into factory-installed audio systems without the need for an additional remote connection.
All components are EMC-tested, ensuring interference-free compatibility with the vehicle’s electronics. The Smart Load technology, adopted from the DLS Signature series, facilitates seamless integration into modern vehicle systems. Weighing just 0.6 kg and featuring minimal installation dimensions, the PS1.500 can be easily mounted even in hard-to-reach locations.
