DLS Signature S1

The DLS Signature S1 is a high-quality Class D mono amplifier designed specifically to drive subwoofers in the car audio sector. With an impressive output of up to 1,000 W RMS into 1 ohm, it delivers powerful, precise low-frequency bass with impressive authority. The Signature Series is known for extremely low distortion and an exceptionally high signal-to-noise ratio, ensuring that only the pure music signal reaches the subwoofer.

In terms of sound quality, the S1 impresses with a damping factor of over 150, which ensures tight and controlled bass reproduction. The total harmonic distortion is less than 0.06% (at 3 W, 20 Hz–300 Hz) and less than 0.09% (at 400 W, 100 Hz). The A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of 94 dB ensures an extremely low-noise soundstage that reveals previously hidden details in the music.

Each channel has been individually tuned, and all components have been synchronized with one another to ensure perfect coordination. The custom-designed cooling system with an internal fan ensures reliable operation even under heavy load. An adjustable bass boost at 45 Hz, a switchable subsonic filter at 30 Hz, and a phase switch (0°/180°) offer extensive customization options.

When the S1 is used in conjunction with a digital signal processor (DSP), the entire preamp circuitry can be bypassed. This allows an unaltered signal to reach the power amplifier directly, without any loss of sound quality. An included wired remote control with a 5-meter cable allows for convenient adjustment of the subwoofer level from the driver’s seat.
